the guide i think his name was james is very well informed about the area (nottinghill) i think the fact that he lives in the area will contribute to his knowledge .
I have to say before we went i was a bit sceptical but the tour was a very pleasant experience !

my advice : wear shoes that are nice to walk in (no high heels)

I really enjoyed this tour, it was a nice mix of celebreties, local culture and locations from the movie Notting Hill. Our guide was really knowledgable and our tour actually ran long instead of short. He also stopped so that we could get cupcakes at Hummingbird before it closed. I've been on three Celebrity Planet tours (Notting Hill, Jack the Ripper and Mayfair) and the tours were all really informative and all contained up to date info. The guides were open to questions being asked throughout the tour and didn't mind waiting while we took photos. I've lived in London for nearly three years and it was great to discover many streets I never knew existed. I'd definitely recommend this tour company to both locals and visitors alike. My niece and I went on the Notting Hill walking tour last summer, it was fantastic. Got to see lots of different places in Notting Hill - houses of the famous, film locations and much more.

The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable with great stories to tell. His pet dog was a welcome addition to the tour and very well behaved.

I would recommend this tour and this company to everyong - its a great idea - and I cant wait for my next tour !!!

The tour was really good! The guide was friendly and helpful and had photos to show at various sites. He was willing to answer any questions throughout the tour and didn’t mind waiting while we took photos. This is an excellent way to experience Notting Hill and a great day out in London! Make sure you wear comfortable shoes.

I did the above two walking tours with them. On both occasions due to work commitments, I had to postpone it for a week, and the company was very accomodating to this.

The Jack the Ripper tour was interesting, and well planned. The tour of Nottinghill also, but perhaps not as much, due to the subject matter.

Me and my sister who are from England went on the Celebrity Tour around the Notting Hill area and loved it! The guide was young, fun and relaxed, and even took his little dog along, which proved a great addition to our tour! It felt like a real 'locals' insight into the celebrity world! We did lots of walking, but there were enough refreshement stops along the way to keep us going! It even started at a pub! Other people on the tour were a friendly bunch and the guide got us all chatting to each other. We also thought it was really good value for money! Well informed Guide - James - who was excellent company and answered questions. Good pace to the tour which covered a number of well known places from films as well as lesser known places.

Essential to have a knowledge of the film 'Notting Hill' and some insight to British music.

Comfortable shoes are important and although there is a fair amount of walking, it is relatively easy and the tour is so interesting, you will not notice the distance!
